"We've stayed at Dalmahoy twice now & its still our favourite accommodation in Edinburgh. We've stayed once as a couple & now with a young child & the facilities & activities the staff set up is wonderful. All so accommodating with kids. The facilities such as the pool & restaurants/bars are fantastic. If you dont feel comfortable with driving into the city, buses come every 10mins or so & go straight in."

"In our 2-night stay we had no contact with anyone else at the hotel, but could hear othwr guests a little from our room. Check-in was easy with guidance sent in advance, and the room was cleaned well during the day. The accomodation was clean and comfortable, although the common areas were unlit during the day so quite dark. A small amount of shampoo and shower gel was provided, and the room had a kettle. "Great price and great views, I love this area of England. The hotel did seem a little dated and the food fairly overpriced. However the breakfast was great! Spacious rooms however not much amenities in the rooms and the shower gel etc is horrible. Dont use it. Use your own. "

"A nice stay but a few things could’ve been improved. Food was lovely and staff were friendly. However they just don’t have enough staff so the service was really slow. The room wasn’t great for the money we paid either. It was overlooked a bit and next to the kitchen so outside was a bit scruffy. The toilet was broken too and my husband had to fix it. "Had a great stay. Breakfast was great and the one meal we had was delicious. I'm a coeliac and they were very helpful. Had a delicious icecream sundae for pudding. The staff were amazing .Kieran and all the girls were lovely. We've stayed a few years and have noticed room's have gone a bit tired and bathroom needs regrouting . But a lovely stay as always. Can't say enough how great the staff are. "
