Wonderful stay, the place has such stunning views, perfect for sunrise/sunset and star gazing. We had a wonderful time. The only reason I took one star off for comfort was the amount of stairs (mainly taking luggage up/down these stairs). I completely understand why it’s like this, as that’s why it has such stunning views but was not prepared for that many stairs.

One night in Spice Bay
We picked these suites because it was close to the airport. The room was like a small apartment. It had a kitchen, living room, bedroom and bathroom. The suite also had a large porch area. In the morning breakfast was made for you by a hired cook. The meal was yummy and made with a lot of care. Two things to know. The area is very hilly. There were about 60 steps to go up and down. Also, to my knowledge there wasn't a manager on duty. We were able to find a number to call through "Whatsapp." The manager responded fairly quickly. The people in the area were friendly, but the suites were in a low income area.

My recent stay at Spice Bay was an overall delightful experience, earning it a solid four stars. The breakfast options were limited, and the quality of the offerings fell short of the high standard set by the rest of the establishment. It would be beneficial for the management to consider expanding the breakfast menu and improving the overall dining experience. Despite this minor setback, Spice Bay Suites is a charming destination that offers a relaxing getaway for those seeking tranquility and elegance. We really appreciated the idyllic view of the space. There was a lovely view but no beach access, though the person who greeted us pointed us to a stairwell that was supposed to go to the beach. When we tried to go the stairs ended and we were lefte with a severely overgrown path that required hiking boot and long pants and shirts to treck through. The suite got was lovely, however the water pressure was very low when taking a shower. It also was twice the listed distance from Castries which meant a 1 hour drive and $100US cab ride from the airport in castries, which we were not expecting.

Staff was very accommodating. I was in town for work and so did not leave the property. The cook made me 3 delicious meals a day while I sat on the quiet, peaceful balcony working. By afternoon I could enjoy the pool. Restaurants are not very walkable, but it was easy to have a taxi called to get around the island when I needed to.

Nice Atlantic side apartment
The host, Matthew, was very friendly and helpful. The apartment itself was nice and clean with a beautiful deck and amazing view. This was our first night in St Lucia and a great place to stay on the Atlantic side of the island. The host provided a home cooked meal to us which was reasonably priced and wonderful, especially as the eating options in the nearby town were not very appealing to us.

A hidden gem. Our unit was perfect for us. The breakfast (and optional dinner) were made with love and pride (thanks Cathy and Verne!). Lots of stairs so a free mini-workout included with every stay. Highly recommended.

The best staff! They really took care of us with full professionalism. Location is away from all the touristy spot which we liked but at the same time pls note that you will be driving 45 min to an hour to the touristy spots which we didn't mind. We met the hosts once when we checked in but they have staff there that can help you with anything you need but at the same time provided us total privacy. Lastly, property was well taken care of with a beautiful views of the bay. Highly recommended.
