Beautiful location. The room was spacious and well kept. The hotel was also very pleasant great housekeeping. I was not a big fan of the dinner buffet however, the breakfast was phenomenal. The coffee shop and bakery in the lobby was also very delicious and everyone was very pleasant and helpful. I would definitely stay here and recommend others.

Place was nice. Seems as if the plumbing had some issues. Lots of stained ceilings from water damage. Especially in the lobby area. On our floor they were repairing the damage, doing some drywall work. Other than that minor cosmetic issue, it was a good time.

Turned off the AC and was still FREEZING the entire night. Worse sleep at a hotel in years. Throat not feeling great the next day. Window looks out to someone else’s balcony. Hand towel was not clean and hand soap dispenser was disgusting. Someone’s make up was on the walls and trash from the previous person in the trash can. So glad I only stayed one night. To be fair, many of the hotels are not great in this price range so I’m sure it all seems normal to many but not something I could ever get used to.

I love the location, pool area, and beach access. Having breakfast included was a plus, although the space gets very congested with people trying to get their food. The cafe and Alligator bar were good but a bit pricey. The one odd thing to me was the hotel room bathroom: it has a door that swings open/closed but doesn’t have any type of latch or lock. But I would stay here again.

the beach and surround area and clean and nice, open buffet breakfasting was great, and the service was good. I did not like the room it is old not up to date with beds tables, chairs, furniture, and paints. Old coffee maker, no tea or sugar, no tissue paper, there are more things are missing for sure, I will stop witting about it

We spent 2 nights at Riu Miami and loved our room was beautiful ocean front and very clean and spacious. Loved the breakfast buffet lots of great options. we had rooms 540 and 542. both are in need of an update. tp dispenser barely handing on the wall. wall next to shower not painted. tape on the wall next to window. no privacy as far as bathroom. need to place some nylon lines between columns on the outside dining seating to help keep the birds out. birds were taking food right off the plates of guests as they walked outside and when they left the tables. breakfast time was a cluster - everyone gathered around the bread toaster creating traffic jam. needs to be better organized at the buffet. this was our second trip to this location and will be our last.
