The Hilton Cabana is a nice alternative to staying in the chaos of south beach. We had direct beach access with way less crowds than less than a mile down the beach. We rented citibikes and rode all the what to south beach and docked them down there. The pools were great but the hot tub looked like it needed to be cleaned. The rooms were nice and loved having the ocean view for a decent price with a balcony. Having valet there was expensive but worth it. We did have an abnormal experience where a septic pumping truck was blocking us retrieving our car for more than an hour. Management did everything they could and the company finally moved their vehicle to let us pass. I would suggest making sure that doesn’t happen midday. Overall it was a great experience.

Not impressed at all for a hilton. The lobby tricks you to think the hotel is clean, the rooms rug looks like its never been cleaned with stains, the bathroom sink had mold, the shower door was covered in water stains ( easy to clean) and the shower had soap scum all over the silicone. We knew for sure they dont clean well when i requested the room cleaning after i had broken a serum glass bottle, and i came back to find glass still on the floor. The second day i requested the room to be cleaned 3x and wasnt done. Also they dont wipe down any counters or doors, the counters were dirty and the bathroom door had marks and white stuff all over it. Early check-in is false hope so dont bother. The hot tub had way too many bubbles, chemicals and what looked like scum but not sand floating all around.

I would not recommend your hotel for an overnight. The hotel seems more like a one night stay “on the road” outside of town to hurry “cruisers’ in and out of, I have stayed at Hiltons across the USA and the quality of the service, rooms and restaurants in your hotel were more on a level of a Comfort Inn.

We enjoyed the beach access, cleanliness of the room, and walkable features of location. The construction next door, which will end, created a good bit of noise that impacted the area score. The openness between rooms of the ocean view balcony rooms (Floor 9 at least) could be improved for privacy both of the balcony and views into rooms.

This is not a place i would pick for vacation. In my room, my window didn't work and my bathroom door was attached backwards. The fence to the beach wasn't working for a digital key, and there was no side entrance so we had to ride our bikes back a few blocks to get around to the front of the hotel. There was construction going on next door, that i had no idea was going to be there. There is a parking charge of 60/day and resort charge of 30/day. I know most hotels don't do this either but it would be nice for the hotel or expedia to have these charges listed more prominently. At the beach they had 5-6 cabanas for people to rent, and they they had chairs behind them in a small beach place. I wasn't allowed to move my chair, so instead of being about to look out on the water, I stared at an empty cabana the whole time. no one was in the cabanas which were set up at the beach edge and blocking everyone's view. Walking back from the beach you could see a rat trap next to the wall. I'm being picky here, because i know all places have them, but could you hide it a bit! lol There was one restaurant and a coffee place. The coffee place closed early afternoon though which was disappointing bc they didn't have much else. The employees were very kind and helpful, and made the experience enjoyable. But i wouldn't book this hotel to make you feel great about your getaway. It's too expensive to have an ok experience
