The Harrison is a hostel. If that tempers your expectations, don’t. This place is genuinely great. Very low key. It has private rooms with private showers. Went for a business trip and the location of this place was perfect. Comfortable beds. Clean bathrooms. Convenient walk to South Beach for a Crossfit fitness festival. Place isn’t for everyone that require more amenities, but all we needed was a comfortable private room to sleep, shower, and work quietly. Couldn’t ask for a better stay.

This was the absolute worst stay I have ever had. The only thing that looks remotely similar to the advertised photos is the courtyard. The shower looked like it hadn’t been cleaned in months. The flooring was lumpy, had spots that were sunken in, spots where there were holes rotted. Holes and stains on the linens and lampshades. The walls were obviously dirty and had paint drip marks. There was tied up garbage bags outside the rooms. On top of that, the hallways and courtyards REEK of marijuana. I knew I was picking a “cheap” stay, but I didn’t know I was picking a filthy one. On top of all of that, the obnoxious, BLARING music from Casa Matilda was insufferable. The music was so loud that our bed was shaking, windows rattling, and we could not sleep. Tried to call the “24/7” desk several times and never got an answer. Finally went downstairs around 1AM to complain in person, and the security guard told us, “It’s a club where millionaires go; they turn the music up loud and we ask them to turn it down but they turn it back up. Not much we can do; we can’t tell them how to run their business.” Okay but… the restaurant is located in the hotel? The man who said that was nice about it, but he told us that they would likely shut the music off by 2 because they close at 2. Funny how that didn’t happen. By 2:30 AM my friend and I were so tired and upset about the noise that we finally made a noise complaint with the police. Noise still didn’t end until 3AM. DO NOT STAY HERE!

I’m not the type to leave a bad review, but the photos of this hotel is very misleading. Parking behind is 130$ for an evening and a day to start off. You walk up to a patio area that at first seems very nice until you walk through the gate. Then proceed to be taken to a room where on the way to that room there is a leak that has humped up the hallway floor at least 6 inches right in the middle above that is a ceiling that is crumbling and covered in black mold. We then are placed in a room that is covered in black mold and has open electrical in the bathroom. Looks like cleaner was sprayed onto a wall and never wiped. My kids, my husband and I all got very sick from just standing in the room for 10 minutes while we tried to figure out other arrangements. My husband proceeded to tell the manager (which was the very kind and the only decent experience of the whole ordeal) that we cannot stay in that room, that we will either need another room or we will have to leave. That room key card reader doesn’t read so the manager had to “manually” break in with a piece of rope and a wire that is slid under the door to open it from the inside after which he had to beat on the door to ensure no one was in there. Ultimately, we left, our kids were throwing up from the exposure and we all still contain a cough. It was a bad experience and in the end the only decent part was how nice and understanding the manager was. I do NOT recommend.

This property is filthy , holes in the floor Water damaged walls , roaches on floor , trash stacked outside the rooms Room was over top of a restaurant/bar extremely loud and cars race up and down the road all night long

We didn’t even stay at the property, the room was incredibly unhygienic with a box spring on the floor that had stains and mold on it, the walls had strange splatters on them and the head board also had stains on it. The rooms were nothing like the pictures. There was a large gap under the door and we were worried about bugs crawling under.

Our door lock was broken so we were happy to just be staying over night. Staff didnt really help with any luggage but as we were leaving he was very conversational. No towels bath room could have been more maintained and cleaner

Mi peor experiencia de un hotel en el mundo. Ni siquiera nos podíamos quedar a dormir.yo tenía 2 habitaciones,la mía no tenía aire acondicionado y estaba asquerosamente sucia,la lámpara de luz rota y sin baterías los controles del aire acondicionado. La otra habitación era otro desastre,no nos la pudieron dar porque está rota y me dieron otra con literas,cuando entramos el manubrio de la puerta está roto y nos quedamos con el en la mano.Ademas de no tener luz en la recepción no trataron nunca con mantenimiento de reparar la situación y menos una disculpa.Ese hotel está en condiciones para clausura,no deberían hospedarse nadie ahí por las condiciones insalubres que ahí. Necesito me contacte Servicio al Cliente para un reembolso.

Great location! Close to the beach! And great restaurants! No need for car rental if you want to go to the beach ! Friendly staff! Fresh towel every day if you ask ! Good water pressure in Tahoe shower ! Comfortable beds! Hotel need updates but perfect for short stays!

Overall- for a semi-cheap fast and convenient place. This is it. 5 minutes walk to the beach- 5 minutes walk to ocean drive. All great. Parking needs to be paid so prepare, paint chipping off the wall, you can see where water stains are and has been painted over. Probably mold underneath or what might be. Our unit bathroom and walk in shower was not clean properly, or it might have been but it looks dirty anyways. There is, again, something to say about the convenience of the location.

The toilet in the first room was out of order, so the staff helped us to switch to another. However, the new room was very damp, with water seeping from the floor, terrible smell, and a moldy air conditioner. That said, the location was great. Maybe it's not fair to expect too much at this price, but I wouldn't stay here again.
