Meta beach was lovely and had some lovely bars and restaurants. It is not a tourist town, but everyone was really friendly. Would recommend also visiting Piano and Sant Agnello too.

Great view, comfortable hotel
"The room was very big, I had a great view with a nice balcony. Bed was comfortable. The hotel is on the hill so it has great views but it's a long way from the city center. There is a bus stop just opposite the hotel. Breakfast was standard, croissant, cakes, eggs, some fruits, juice, coffee, ..."

Meta is about 5 minutes on the train from Sorrento and about 20 minutes from Pompeii so a good bas3 to explore from. Although quite noisy during the day it is very quiet at night. There are a couple of small supermarkets nearby and enough restaurants
