"The beach and restaurant are quite lovely as is the entrance to the hotel. We were taken through the hotel, out the back ally, up some stairs to a different building and into a large undecorated room with a large patio with no view. There was a party in the room above us all night that made it impossible to sleep. I’m sure it was once a lovely location but it hasn’t aged well. Best for young folks that want to party. "

"Stayed here for one night. Grounds are very pretty and hotel is based on the side of quite a steep hill so quite a lot of stairs and ramps. There are some lifts to parts of property but not all and they are in odd locations, for example one led to a pitch black banquet hall that you needed to pass through. "I couldn’t falter my stay at Terra Rossa. A small residence set among beautiful gardens with great views. We had a studio overlooking the Isola Bella Island. The patio is perfect sized for an evening unwind. The studio provides everything you need and is cool. The pool area is never too busy. Staff are friendly and helpful. "

"The views are amazing and it is easy to get the bus up to the main centre. Nice easy walk back in the evening once the sun was down. Rudi was very helpful. "Lovely location to get the train to and from. Walking distance to a lot of nice bars and restaurants. The host was lovely and very helpful. You can use the washing machine which was helpful for we travelled hand luggage only. Apartment was large and had everything you needed, even a friendly cat that would visit the garden! "The bedside lamp was not working. There are no restaurants in the approximately and they only serve paninis. It has a beautiful view but it is quite the drive to get up there. The credit machine was not working so we had to pay cash. "

"If you are looking for a high end resort that is on the beach and away from the busyness of the city this is your place! A spectacular resort on the edge of the Ionian with spectacular panoramic views of Mount Etna, Isola Bella and the sea. Free shuttles are also available from the resort if you would like to venture into Taormina city. The food however on the resort is not as spectacular as the resort itself. "

"My partner and I stayed at the Villa Belvedere for a week in August 2025. The Villa Belvedere is absolutely beautiful, set in stunning gardens overlooking the bay, a short walk to the centre of Taormina. The staff are wonderful, friendly and helpful. The breakfast was delicious and varied. The hotel’s interior is gorgeous and traditional. The rooms perfectly clean."

"Lovely hotel in the perfect location. Very walkable but far enough away from the main crowded street. The staff were excellent! They even helped us get a reservation that were struggling to get and brought hot water with lots of lemons and honey when my throat was bothering me. Breakfast was also a highlight!"
