"For the price we paid the hotel is excellent value, the staff are lovely and helpful. The rooms are basic bit more importantly clean and all you need for a long weekend stay. "If you crave perfection...this is not your hotel. This is an older hotel in a spectacular location!! We rented a family suite. It had two bedrooms and a living room and slept 4 adults VERY comfortably. It is not a luxury hotel but it was clean and every request me made was met with cheerful compliance. My only complaint is that the shower is very small...think cruise ship small. It is a 1k walk to the train station to Cologne. "

"The hotel is situated in a great location for wandering round the city or jumping on the train. Comfortable beds, nice sized rooms, excellent shower and bathroom. The breakfast buffet is extensive and delicious! The pool and spa facilities were very good also. Would return again in a heartbeat. "

"We had only one night, which was - unfortunately - Christmas Eve. This meant that all regular restaurants were closed, including the one of the hotel itself. We ended up eating in a Kebab fast food place. The breakfast buffet of the hotel the next morning was phenomenal."
