"This group goes out of their way to ensure travelers are taken care of. They can help with tours, give great advice on vineyards, have an excellent cellar themselves. The rooms are comfortable. The pool was open, even early in the season. Lovely places to gather and enjoy end of the day conversation. I also appreciated the travel guides in their bookcase. It was helpful to have our own water bottles with us."

"The best part about our stay was the service. The people working at the front desk were incredibly helpful starting months before our stay. Using WhatsApp, I spoke with them from the US and they helped coordinate and plan several of our activities, including a great couples massage on premise. I also told them we were staying for my wife’s birthday and they gave us a bottle of champagne free of charge and bought a cake from a local bakery that was ready when we arrived. "Lares was one of the best places we have stayed in Argentina. For weeks before we arrived, they worked with us in setting up tastings. They were really great. The staff was so helpful. The owners congenial. Great place to stay! Highly recommend."

"Location was good. Breakfast was good. Pool and garden were nice, but a felt a bit neglected. My dorm upstairs was good, however pillow and mattress weren't great. The place could definitely use some maintenance/updating. Kitchen leaves a lot to be desired.. It doesn't cost much to replace cracked plates or sponges.. volunteers at reception need to be trained better."
