Things did not get off to a great start. We landed in the U.S from the UK to an email stating that our reservation at the hotel made TEN MONTHS in advance had been cancelled on the day! Thankfully we were able to rebook a room over the phone (not the accessible room booked 10 months ago) and the staff were very helpful with this, however this was an unwelcome concern that we did not need. Upon check in the duvet and bed sheets on the bed were filthy. Again, the staff were helpful and managed to move us to another room for one night whilst this was rectified but not ideal after 20 hours of travel. Other than these two issues, a pleasant experience. I have stayed at this hotel a number of times since 2009 and it is great to see the refurbishments taking place. The location is what sells it as it’s closer to
Graceland than the guest house and it offers free car parking.
