"It was a wonderful place to stay and a 10 minute walk to the conference. The rooms were spacious with comfortable beds. The hosts were above and beyond helpful and knowledgeable about the area and how to get to whatever we needed. The area is beautiful and safe. There are many good restaurants and a grocery store 10 minutes away. The rooftop terrace views of the city can’t be beat, and is a great spot to go relax. This place is charming and I would love to go back someday!"

"The Hotel That Quietly Wins Prague (and Your Heart) I stayed at the Michelangelo Grand Hotel twice during my Prague trip — once to kick things off (June 17–18), and again to wrap it up (June 22–23). Both times, the staff made me feel like I’d stumbled into a five-star hotel disguised as a really well-run four-star. I’ve stayed in places that cost twice as much and didn’t come close to this level of service. The front desk? Rockstars. They helped me with currency exchange, held my luggage without a second thought, and even let me check in early — which felt like a miracle after a transatlantic haul. They were consistently kind, helpful, and genuinely seemed to care that my stay went well. Honestly, if they’d offered to adopt me and let me live behind the reception desk, I might’ve considered it. Rooms were clean, cool (yes, actual air conditioning that works), and comfortable. First room was a simple queen — perfect. Second one had a queen plus a double — even better. Bonus points for the coffee maker, free bottled water, and random little coffee candies that I definitely didn’t need but definitely ate. Even the bathroom soap and shampoo were good — once I figured out the fancy squeeze bottles, which I stared at like a caveman discovering plastic. Location? Ridiculous.
