"Property is very unique but old and dirty. Internet worked perfectly, but the bathroom is in bad shape. Also, there are no blinds at the windows to allow for sleep in the dark, only small curtains. Fixing those and advertising the property with us history would make it fantastic."

"We had a great stay one-night stay at the Gilleleje Badehotel just outside of the high season. Everything about the property feels premium. The room was spacious, clean and tastefully decorated. We opted to eat in the hotel dining room and the food prepared by Vik was exceptional. We’re talking perfectly seasoned and beautifully cooked European dishes with top-end restaurant presentation. "We stayed one night. We got in late, so the hotel manager knew who we were the minute we walked in. Our room was right down the hall. The hallway to the rooms is interior open space with nice decorations, and our room was right there, very fun classy entryway. Everything was just so neat and precise. It was perfect for getting settled in. The breakfast was beyond anything you ever get in the US. Really exceptional! And any staff we spoke with was polite and friendly and helpful. Top to bottom...

"Manager and staff are very friendly and enjoyable to talk with. I have been staying at this hotel for over 15 years. It’s close to central Hillerod by foot where you can find the Toyal summer palace and a few great restaurants. Highly recommend "

"Staff was friendly and accommodating. We came in very late and they made arrangements for us to get our room key quickly and without complications. The hotel is historic so it is not new but is well kept. The beach walk/ trail is fantastic with incredible views. Would recommend and would return. "

"The hotel lived its days in the past. Rooms where smelly like something really old was there. Beds were very uncomfortable to sleep. I had ack hurt after the night. Shower mixer stile like in the old days wth 2 seperate regulators for hot and cold water. Shower itself kind of small and the showerr curtains always sticks to the body while showering. Breakfast was the only part which was better than anything else in this hotel. I would personally not come back there."

"I love this place. It was a beautiful, quiet and quaint. The food was local and amazing. The staff were pleasant, attentive and social. There was plenty to see within driving distance. The water was beautiful and cold, although it’s a rocky beach, so bring water shoes. "
