For a modern facility there are a couple of things missing. 1/ There are no openable windows in the room, requiring the vent system to run continuously. 2/ Despite having a high end LG TV there are no network services such as Netflix of Apple. Location worked for me with a park adjacent to the hotel, “lite” cafe facilities within the complex (including a Supermarket) good access to trams that take you into the CBD.

All I want when I travel is a safe, clean, quiet room. Our room was all of these, I love the feeling that you are the only ones around. Super comfy bed, handy transport, close to the city. My only gripes would be is the room service delivery is $5 and it arrives in cardboard boxes. By the time you’ve transferred it to a half size plate, it’s cold. I would definitely stay here again next time in Melbourne.

The hotel is attached to the royal childs hospital. Clean hotel. Parking was additional $28. Bed was average and pillows were uncomfortable. Had everything you need in the room. Close by to a park and tram stop.
