"The pool was lovely . There are several restaurants within easy walking distance. Disliked the number of rules at the property -for instance you cannot have your own food and drinks on terrace/ in room yet they sell no food and only a minimal drink selection. The shower needs to be hooked up as holding it in your hand to shower in 2022 really isn’t acceptable . Rooms need updating . "

"Great choice if you are visiting Paulliac or Saint Julien wineries at Bordeaux. Very close to a few famous ones. The room is spacious and the amenities are nice. Good restaurant as well. However, the only issue is the Accessibility, they have quite a few bumps, stairs if you are using a wheelchair or so."

"Chateau Pierre de Montignacer is a lovely place, highly recommended! Marie and Romain are lovely and friendly people who put the well-being of their guests first - great level of service. "Warm welcome from Estelle with helpful guidance for local points of interest and restaurants. Shower was very good with hot water operating without any wait time. Breakfast was all of good quality, home made approach with apples pick from her tree each morning, and cooked eggs from her free range hens were offered. Very nice secure countryside house."

"Very luxurious stay. Incredible room - beautiful finishings and a view overlooking the lovely courtyard. The setting is lovely with a vineyard on site with a terrace. The staff were really friendly. The restaurant in Bages was a 5 minute walk and was lovely also although unless you have a car (or arrange a taxi which can be quite expensive we foune) there are not so many options around other than that but the hotel itself is nice enough to want to stay! "

Fab hotel

"Totally exceeded our expectations, a fabulous family hotel, we are already planning to stay a little longer next time so that we can hang out here and explore Bordeaux before moving on. The only reason it wasn’t five stars across-the-board was because one of the kids beds had three slats missing, which we didn’t find out until the morning when the mattress had disappeared into the bed! we were too much of a rush to report it though, I’m sure they would’ve dealt with it very well, service was excellent with everything else! "
