"We had a lovely comfortable stay. The Arabian villa comprises of 2 large villas and cottage rooms. We stayed in family room in a cottage for 4 persons. The villa is for larger groups of 15+ people. Our room was spacious and clean. The swimming pool was also nice but the water was not very clear. Tea/coffee amenities in room could be improved. The breakfast was great and all staff polite. Good - Clean rooms and bathrooms - Quick service and housekeeping - Good lawn at back side Not Good - Rooms did not have any good view and were close to reception and parking - It was noisy during night and early morning due to checkin / checkout and rooms not having proper noise isolation - No dorm facility for driver "

A Nightmare: Misleading Photos, Dirty Property

"Our recent stay at Coocasa Mahabaleshwar was an absolute nightmare. The property was dirty, with the third room being nothing more than a storage space filled with spare mattresses, bed not being double and no attached bathroom. The hall was a mess, cluttered with old boxes, and the outdoor chairs were wet and surrounded by garbage. To make matters worse, there was a dangerous leak above the stairs. We raised these issues with hotels.com immediately upon checking in, but they were unable to provide any help. Only solution was to check in at some other property 25kms far which was not a feasible option. The property owner was incredibly rude and dismissive, telling us to check out if we were unhappy. The food was awful, and every service was delayed. The photos on the app were completely misleading, and the description of the property did not match reality at all. We were deeply disappointed and would not recommend this place to anyone. Our stay was beyond disappointing and utterly frustrating."
