It was a great experience. The place is gorgeous and the staff incredibly friendly and welcoming. The area is surrounded by restaurants, night life and a great atmosphere. We loved our stay there.

Important to clarify that this is actually a guesthouse and not a hotel. My room in particular was not the best. Small bathroom and no natural light. We only got to stay one night at Botánica but we plan to stay there again when we return to Medellin. The room with one double bed was just fine for us - me, my husband and 7 year old. There was even a little desk. The staff was super friendly, the breakfast fantastic, the location amazing. You can walk to the metro and across the street is a vinyl listening bar plus tons of food options everywhere. Yes the room is small (but we have stayed in smaller) so if you really need a giant room then maybe find a fancier place and you’ll pay a lot more because most hotels/hostels at this price in the city have smaller size rooms. We loved Botánica, for the location, decor, breakfast, price and overall vibe. Loved how the place feels and is decorated and how friendly everyone is. Sorry we couldn’t stay longer.

Great safe place tucked in the most happening place in El Poblado. Great walking distance (literally outside of the hotel) restaurants, bars and clubs. Parque Lleras, Barrio Manila, Provenza are all within 5-12 minute walk from the place. The caretakers of the hotel are also amazing folks.

Good location. Conveniently located near many restaurants, grocery and not far from a main metro line. Building and rooms are comfortable, clean and provide a unique and boutique experience. Best part is the staff. Accommodating, helpful, friendly. Breakfast made fresh to order, nice indoor/outdoor seating.

I had a good stay at Botanica. Despite a rocky start with a windowless room, Dania, and her team quickly sorted out a better option. Breakfast was decent, though not very tasty. The WiFi was strong throughout, and the ever-present hotel staff were a big help.

The hotel is little paradise behind closed doors. The 24 hour staff were awesome, friendly and helpful. Julie & Letty (sp) were wonderful hosts. They made my stay worthwhile and bent over backwards to accommodate me. I recommend this hotel to all travelling to Medellin. The location is close to some great restaurants, and there isn't a better place to catch local tours.

Will start by saying there was no air conditioning or tv in the room, I was alone and it was cool outside but room only had a fan. That said the hosts were amazingly nice, they cook you fresh breakfast every morning (yes they cook for you on the spot), you need a key to access the place so it is secure and comfortable. The location was also very central with a lot to do around the area. Definitely recommend.

Das Hotel wirkt mehr wie ein Hostel, alle Zimmer sind rund um den Aufenthaltsraum angelegt (unseres war nur mit einer Glaswand, davon getrennt), alles sehr hellhörig, Zimmertür aus Holz mit großen Rissen. Beim Frühstück sitzt man mit allen an einem Tisch, Frühstücksauswahl standardmäßig kolumbianisch ( Eier, Arepe, Früchte, Fruchtsaft und Kaffee (nicht gut)) Preis/Leistung stimmt in dem Fall nicht, man zahlt für die Location (sicheres Viertel, wo man am Abend aus rausgehen kann, viele Restaurants und Bars in unmittelbarer Nähe) Teuerstes “Hotel” auf unserer Kolumbienreise bis dato.
