"We were visiting and ended up getting stranded due to Hurricane Helene. There were two young boy and a bartender that were at the property and stayed the entire time to help guests. They were all fantastic. The GM showed up and started asking us to evacuate....not sure were he wanted us to go but he did not want us there. "We stayed at the Haywood Park Hotel two days before Hurricane Helene's destructive path caused catastrophic damage to lovely Asheville. Our stay was wonderful. It has everything we needed except for one thing- a small coffeepot would be a great addition. Getting dressed & ready before coffee is hard in the morning.
