The bed's headboard is made out of a solid concrete. If you miss the pillow, watch your head! The child bed/crib was not set up as requested. It was left in-front of the door without a mattress. At the end of the stay staff always tries to charge you extras for things you didn't do. This has happened twice in a row. The restaurant makes delicious food - that is probably the #1 reason for visiting this lodge. The bathroom (including the toilet and the shower) are in the bedroom so there is no privacy.

Stylish hotel in great setting.
We had a very pleasant stay in this upmarket boutique hotel. The room was very well appointed and the pool area excellent. The location is on a hill overlooking Nelspruit and we dined well at the in-house restaurant on the terrace.

The grounds are great and location was great. The views are also great. Breakfast is included and was wonderful. The only drawbacks are there is no bathroom door and their on-site restaurant was closed for an event. I wish I had known that. That being said, it's a great place to stay and I would recommend to all.

Lovely hotel, friendly staff!
This hotel was beautifully situated with awesome views. The staff were lovely, friendly and extremely helpful at all stages of the process! The room was great and exactly as described. The food was fabulous and the attached restaurant was outstanding. They gave lovely complimentary nibbles each evening. They also helped with arranging a safari which conveniently picked us up from the hotel. I would definitely recommend this hotel!!

If in Nelspruit, would definitely stay again
Perfect last-stop before setting off for a few nights in Kruger National Park huts. Breakfast was very delicious, staff friendly, fantastic views, beautiful pool area, and very friendly property great dane (his name is Frank). I expected rooms to be a bit fancier for a 5-star rating on Hotels.com, but they were clean, comfortable, and nice.

A gem in the lowveld
The hotel is beautifully decorated with a very classy feeling to it. The staff were welcoming and professional, we will definitely recommend it. The restaurant has the most beautiful view of the Nelspruit and the surrounding area, the food was excellent best in town. Best gnocchi outside Italy!!!

Christmas stay 2015.
This guest house deserves the good ratings given by the majority of people. Really nice location with fantastic views. Staff are helpfull and friendly. Wi fi is slow (as always in ZA guest houses). Orange restaurant offered a good choice of food in a lovely setting but service can be a little amateurish. Christmas Day meal was excellent with really good service ar a reasonable price. I would stay here again and would use the restaurant but not every night.

A Gem in Nelspruit
Centrally located right on the highest point in Nelspruit, this hidden gem offers 360 degree views of the entire city both day and night. The onsite Orange restaurant is simply divine and offers superb dining and night views whilst the breakfast setting is also superb by the poolside.
