"Our stay at Simon’s guest house was wonderful. It has an elevator so our luggage for our cruise was no issue. The Owner Simon and his wife helped us down with our suitcases and were so sweet and hospitable. We flew in the day before our cruise and wanted to see Rome before we boarded the ship. Our 91 year old Mom was with us so the elevator was awesome"

"We had a lovely family staying here. The host was great and we felt very early welcomed. The accommodation was spacious and clean. A free breakfast was included in a nearby cafe. It was next to the metro so very convenient for the Rome sights. Would definitely recommend."

"Nice Spaceous room and bathroom. Extremely comfortable bed ,with memory foam mattress and pillow. Only downfall was that sheets were spotted and not in prestine condition.A bit far away from main attractions in Rome . 35min walk to Colosseum and 40min walk to main train station in town."

"Host was nice. He explained all about nice places around Big Room for family and were good and separate bathroom Stayed in potos room. Shared corridor kitchen very clean n nice. Equipped with everything what needs for cooking, washing, day to day things Wifi available, nearby 24 hr supermarket. Underground was 5 min walk Balcony attached We recommend it for big family visiting rome. "

"This was the first place we stayed on our trip and Renato was very helpful. He was a great host, providing helpful information and was very available and friendly. The included breakfast was very good. Overall the room was small but adequate for our needs. Location is about 15 minutes walk from the most popular attractions and just a couple minutes from public transportation. "

"The handsome boy who checked me in was very helpful and kind. The beautiful lady or checked me out was also pleasant! The chef and coffee maker was so cool and I will def be coming back in a couple of weeks because hotel was safe, room was nice bed was very comfortable and it’s right next to metro. "What a fantastic stay! Host provided us with places to go, recommendations and was just absolutely amazing! We had a fantastic stay! The area was great and safe, and literally right next to the Metro stop and bus stops. If we visit Rome again we will 10000% be staying here again! Would recommend to anyone!"

"Hotel was appalling, dirty rooms with mould all across ceiling in room and in bathroom. No basic amenities in room or available at all (kettle, iron, hair dryer etc). Upon arrival I was given 2 small towels for the bathroom, after day 1, the towel I used was taken when they came to “clean”. On day 2 I asked for some more towels as I’d just used the 2nd one that morning to be told no and that I was already given 2. I explained that I was given 2 however 1 has already been taken and I have 3 more...

"The rooms were very clean, and the staff was incredibly helpful and friendly. The location is excellent—just 200 meters from the metro station and 40 meters from a bus stop, making it very easy to get around. Breakfast was delicious, with a variety of options to choose from. Overall, I had a very pleasant experience and would definitely recommend this hotel to others.""

"Genuinely, was shocked at the bad reviews for this place. Hotel Artis was the BEST experience in Rome. SUPER short walk to the Metro Station which can get you to anywhere in Rome in minutes, great staff (who speak at least two languages), great coffee, spritzes and more. Hotel Artis is the SPOT!"

"It was 9:30PM when I reach the property and could not find it in the given address because there was no sign of it. At the end I was able to figured out the place. Meanwhile I called the property but no body answer. I ring the bell many times but no answer at all. So It was very late, me and my daughter were very tired and I had to reserve another hotel via Expedia and call a taxi to go there. So I want my money back. "

Great stay - recommended

"Absolutely perfect stay - check-in was great, room large and well appointed, beds comfortable, breakfast decent and varied (side note - how is coffee out of a machine in Italy SO much better than fresh coffee in the UK...). Hotel is in a great location for easy walking, acess to the metro and taxis. We had a great stay and highly recommend. "
