"This place was perfect for our vacation to Italy! Room was clean, comfortable and the bed was excellent. From day one our host made us feel welcome and explained everything very well. Breakfast was great and we found some amazing restaurants within walking distance. Close to metro and train. We would stay again for sure. The only negative I could find was the size of the shower (being a tall guy, this was a challenge), but by no means did this take away from our vacation. There is a reason this...

"Host was nice. He explained all about nice places around Big Room for family and were good and separate bathroom Stayed in potos room. Shared corridor kitchen very clean n nice. Equipped with everything what needs for cooking, washing, day to day things Wifi available, nearby 24 hr supermarket. Underground was 5 min walk Balcony attached We recommend it for big family visiting rome. "

"This was the first place we stayed on our trip and Renato was very helpful. He was a great host, providing helpful information and was very available and friendly. The included breakfast was very good. Overall the room was small but adequate for our needs. Location is about 15 minutes walk from the most popular attractions and just a couple minutes from public transportation. "

"The handsome boy who checked me in was very helpful and kind. The beautiful lady or checked me out was also pleasant! The chef and coffee maker was so cool and I will def be coming back in a couple of weeks because hotel was safe, room was nice bed was very comfortable and it’s right next to metro. "It was an alright stay. The rooms are pretty run down. We didn’t have a blanket, only a sheet. Taxis did not want to drive us out that far from several different locations which was kind of scary. The breakfast selection was essentially only cakes and pastries. Didn’t eat at the restaurant so I’m unsure of supper. The pool was nice. Probably won’t stay again. "

"Nice rooms, nice bathroom, nice bed, clean. Hard to get hot water though. Even though there is free street parking, it is impossible to find a legal parking spot. We also have to lock the door with a key once inside the room in order to lock the door. If one person leaves with the key, it's a fire hazard as there are large metal grills over the windows and you need the key to get out of the room."

"We chose the Best Western Plus Hotel Universo as it is walking distance from the Rome train station. We were upgraded to a larger room with sofa bed. It suited us very well. The breakfast had a lot of options and staff was very attentive with coffee orders. We ate dinner one night at the restaurant which served some Roman classics and it was good. Overall, would stay again and recommend this hotel. "
