"We stayed at the Tower Road Motel in Matamata and arrived past check-in time. Andy was super accommodating and very helpful. The motel itself is adorable, clean, and quiet. They provided an informational guide with great tips about nearby areas, which we definitely would have taken advantage of if we had stayed longer. It's only a 15-minute drive to Hobbiton, which was one of the main reasons we chose this place. Overall, we had a lovely experience and would love to stay longer next time."

"Very nice apartment with plenty of space. Kitchen was also great for for family of 4. Only 1.5 hrs form Auckland and 25 mins from Hobbiton. Service was very friendly and held our bags for the day. Definitely recommend for families and couples and will return when we are back in the area. "
