Amazing staff and great location- perfect Riad

Thanks Asad and the team. We really enjoyed our stay in your Riad, which is authentic and very clean with good facilities. We really liked the roof top for breakfast, and we found the staff to all be very friendly and helpful- nothing was too much trouble! 10/10 and would stay again!

Very nice, quiet Riad by the Spice Market minutes from the hustle and bustle. Asad and Abdul are fantastic hosts, always at your disposal and ready to assist in any way. Highly recommended.

Calm and Comfort in Marrakesh

We loved this Riad as it was comfortable and quiet with wonderful hosts. Each morning we enjoyed a wonderful Moroccan breakfast, which we chose to eat on the lovely rooftop terrace. The entire staff was extremely helpful and made our stay a real joy. We highly recommend this Riad if you are planning to stay in the Medina.

Great place to stay!

The riad is in a great location in the Medina of Marrakech. It It is a very nice building from 1600 very clean, well maintained and with a typical decoration. All the people were extremely kind with me during my stay. I would definitely recommend this place! Thanks a lot!!

Truly wonderful experience! The most customer oriented property I’ve ever stayed at. We were made to feel like family immediately. The location is exactly what we were looking for at a traditional riad in the central city deep into the markets and souks. Asad and Abdul are remarkable hosts, the rooms are quite comfortable, the architecture is spectacular, and we were well cared for. I hope to be able to return and would absolutely stay here again!

Fantastic authentic riad to stay. All staff are friendly and can't do enough for you. Its ideally located right in the heart of the medena. The roof top is a nice tranquil place to chill. Abdul and Asad, look after you. Worth doing the cooking and dining experience with them rather than elsewhere. They will arrange any trips and taxis transfers for you. Wouldn't hesitate to stay here again.

Fabulous little Riad in the heart of Medina

Fabulous little Riad, in the middle of Medina. Asad and his family were so attentive, arranging a taxi and then walking us through the Souk to find the accommodation. Breakfast was delicious and more than you could eat!

As a solo traveler I appreciated the hospitality extended to me by Asad who was in communication with me before I even got to Morocco, insuring that all questions were answered. Once there, he was very helpful and provided so much information to help me maneuver and get the most out of my visit to Marrakech. Thanks again also to Abdul who was so very helpful as well. From the day I arrived to the day I left, Asad and Abdul made me feel like I am part of their family rather than a guest. And that made my trip more memorable more than anything else. Location was great. You are basically in the middle of the of Medina yet still have the quietness and privacy that is needed after a full day of market and tours. I hope to go back to Marrakech and will definitely stay here again!!

This may be the best place to stay in Marrakesh. It is in the heart of the Medina. A traditional building that is very welcoming. The staff is friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable. They go out of their way to make your stay hassle free. They arrange a pickup and drop off to and from the airport (at a very reasonable cost), and help you plan your activities (if you want). Good breakfast (included). The Riad takes you back hundreds of years.

While in Marrakech you want the authentic feel by staying in a Riad. This is clean, cozy and the staff is fantastic. Asad gave us highlights of Morocco and what to see and Abdul went out of his way multiple times (getting up early to make breakfast, walking us to tour meeting etc). The only thing is the location is deep in the shopping area so it’s crowded getting there but the Riad is on a quiet street.

Amazing stay in Riad Al Mamoune. A warm welcome with tea early in the morning. It truly felt like a safe home under the care of Abdul. We had to leave early in the morning a few times and he made sure we had an early breakfast ready for us. Abdul even helped us find some great souvenirs in the souks at affordable prizes. The location is perfect, and Abdul made sure on our first day to direct us so we wouldn’t get lost. We loved our room. It was beautiful and spacious, though be ready for the light to be dimmed. 5/5, would go again!

I cannot say enough good things about Riad Al Mamoune! Asad and Abdul took such good care of us. They will organize transportation and excursions for you. We were not familiar with Marrakech and they made us feel very comfortable. Abdul met us at the car on our arrival to walk us through the medina to the riad and Asad walked us to our car to go back to the airport. The breakfast was incredible! The decor was stunning. We were REALLY well taken care of. WHEN we go back to Morocco we will be staying here!

Character and Charm

I had a great stay at the Riad. It is absolutely beautiful with tremendous character. The staff was really great. I received fantastic customer service after my misunderstanding the booking rules. I would not recommend staying out very late. The Riad is tucked away inside the Souk and the walk is dark, deserted and ominous very late at night. I felt safe however walking to the Riad during the day while there is lots of activity in the Souk.

Excellent service

Very friendly staff. Abdul does all he can to make the stay safe and enjoyable. Assisted transport from airport is absolutely recommended, as it is very hard to find your way to the hotel on your own. Alternatively you will need a GPS. Lots of "helping" people adressing you, although they do not neccesarily know the place but are after your money. Troublesome!

What can I say about this Riad that hasn't already been said! My wife and I stayed here for 3 nights and the service and hospitality was absolutely incredible, we arrived late at night and were greeted by Abdul in the main square to walk us back to the Riad, Asad then welcomed us into the Riad and prepared a 3 course meal for us, which we had already requested, the communication with Asad prior to arriving was excellent. Anything we needed Asad and Abdul were on hand to accommodate us, whether it was tips on how to haggle, where and what to do, restaurant recommendations etc we felt so at home in the Riad. Special word about Abdul - nothing was too much to ask for and he went over and beyond to look after us, a really great guy. Keep up the good work Asad! If you're looking for a traditional Riad in the heart of the Medina then you can't look past staying here! Can't wait to come back.

Highly recommend, although only a few minutes walk from the spice market, the main square and the myriad of the souks, the Riad is quiet and tranquil. From the moment we arrived, nothing was too much trouble for the brilliantly knowledgable Abdul, we loved our chats and all of the insights he shared with us. Asad (the owner) made us feel immediately at home in this very traditional Riad, with suggestions of places to eat and to explore. Both Asad and Abdel were available on WhatsApp throughout our stay should we have needed them. If you are looking for a real Riad experience, where you feel part of the family, traditional Moroccan breakfasts from the ladies at the Riad who ensured we were well fed and kept everywhere clean and tidy, to the sights and smells in the markets with a calm home to come back to then this is for you.
