The Lamont restaurant was a total surprise. Excellent food. Smith’s beach is one of the most beautiful beaches in Australia. Not crowded or noisy."

"Good old local hotel. I stayed in suite 7 and if you stay in rooms 1-7, you are above the pub and staying between fri & sat night is quite loud and noisey so be aware. The room we had was big and the spa was nice. The king sized bed was comfy. There’s no cleaning service which is apparently reflected in the price. Great location near the heart of Margs and staff are approachable with local advice. I stayed here once last year and was in a queen studio room. I won’t be back so I can experience something new, however my stay was still nice, hence my 5 star score "
