I stayed at the Hilton Marco island beach resort with my husband annd baby for two nights and unfortunately, my experience fell short of expectations.
One of my main concerns was the checkout process. I requested just an extra 30 minutes to check out at 11:30 AM instead of the standard 11 AM, as I needed the time to feed my baby. To my surprise, the front desk informed me that this would incur a $50 charge. I found this to be quite unreasonable, especially considering the circumstances. A little flexibility goes a long way, particularly for families traveling with young children.
Additionally, I encountered issues with the elevators during my stay. There was only one working elevator in the entire hotel, which resulted in long wait times and unnecessary stress, especially when managing luggage and a baby. This was quite inconvenient and detracted from the overall experience.
While the hotel had potential, these issues significantly impacted my stay. I hope the management takes this feedback into consideration for future guests.
