"My motel room was lovely. New, shiny and well appointed. The only thing I missed was a microwave and some cutlery which meant i had to eat out. But that was a very small downside against all of the othe positives. "

"Excellent location with outstanding views and environment. Accommodation is excellent for what it offers, eg. quiet, private, comfortable. Would recommend at least a couple of nights stay. Come prepared for self catering as the town of Mansfield is at times very busy. It’s not 5 star, the cabin was clean and adequate in its offerings."

"Just completed our annual snow trip to Buller. We stayed in a family room. Big room (for the snow) with breakfast included. Amazing location at the top of Bourke St. Proper ski in/out. And the Double cheseburger on their menu is legit! We'll definitely be coming back. "

"We had a great stay at Jarrah Lodge this weekend! Being peak ski season, we were pleasantly surprised at how reasonable the price was for what the house offered. 7 adults had more than enough room, with lots of amenities, and a big kitchen and two spacious living areas! Only negative was that there is no WiFi and 6/7 phones had no reception (Telstra the only provider that worked). Not a huge issue, but we weren't prepared for that! Will definitely be returning. A good example of extremes.

"This is definitely budget accommodation, the unit was not flash and the upkeep to our unit poor, washing machine didn't spin out (leaving clothes very wet) and the door jammed making it difficult to exit (lucky we didn't have to exit in a hurry. However, if these things don't both you then the location is amazing, and there is a good variety of facilities. The staff were very helpful with extending our booking a further night when we had to change plans late at night. My conclusion is the staff and location were great, but the owners have to make the decision to spend a good amount of money on maintenance and refurbishment. "
