BED was not the most comfortable, clean yes! They had coffee, bananas, apples, oranges and bars for your breakfast. We were able to take a couple bananas and bars for the road. Very personable men! Thanks

We found the board walk trail that was close and the small town with great breakfast options. The front dest staff was so kind and helpful even though we got there later in the evening.

Super clean, great bed, roomy, inside newly renovated. They’re still working on the outside, so don’t judge a book by its cover. Would definitely recommend and will stay here again if we’re ever back this way.

The Holiday Motel is the perfect overnight respite! Ron and his staff are great and friendly. They make you feel like you are coming to your favorite uncle's house. From the moment you arrive you are greeted with a smiile and warm conversation. The motel itself is clean and comfortable. And by the way, the complimentary fireside smores are a wonderful treat!

I loved having direct communication with the manager/owner. The room were was absolutely adorable. The coffee was good and property was lovely. I would definitely stay there again. The only suggestion that I had was that the breakfast was a bit sparse. There were only granola bars and apples. Would like to have had some cereal, bagel or oatmeal or something different. Otherwise excellent stay.

Check in and check out were easy, staff couldn't have been more friendly, parking was right outside our door, and room was clean and well furnished. Dining options were not near the Motel, but easily drivable. I would stay here again if I was in the area.

The guy at the front desk was super helpful, kind , and accomodating. He gave me advise on what to do and let me check in after 10pm by informing me what rooms were ours and leaving them unlocked for us. The bedrooms are beautiful and perfect, the area too. I loved how each bedroom could accomodate 5 people in beds. Everything looked clean and nice. When I go back to Picture Rocks for sure I will be looking to stay at this motel again. Cons: the tvs are small (but we didnt need them anyways) and the bathrooms are a little outdated.

The Holiday motel is a quaint little motel in Manistique , Michigan. Absolutely welcoming. Ron is a joy. All his hard work in restoring this gem is very evident. Reminds me of old days along Route 66, happy days of yesterday. The furnishings were just what we needed. Had spent 2 nights at Grand Hotel on Macinac Island & this room far exceeded previous accommodations. The cleanest stay ever. Hope this little gem survives & if ever back in Michigan will definitely be a go to stay.
