This place was recommended after my top 3 choices were booked for my dates, but I think I would have had a better time around the corner at city garden (old or new). There's some good and bad, I stayed longer that I would normally but wanted to change to a better hotel every day. The Good -Excellent helpful staff -Large rooms with windows -Great location of 24 hour food and amenities The Bad -Broken amenities, AC leaking 24/7, shower head blocked, tub had lots of cracks that cut my feet (needing medical attention) -Turn down service has to be requested, doesn't always happen when you do -Dirty carpets, very rarely I have to wear my shoes in suite -Out of the way of regular transit, if you're okay with Jeepneys and Grab this is good, otherwise, Ayala Terminal, Malate or BCG may be better options I've seen some of the corner units and their remodels would work wonders for the rest of the facility, removing carpet changing wallpaper and so on. The old city garden hotel is around the corner and about $10/d, but you get what you pay for here.

Nice place and clean. Quaint resto-lounge for a quick meal. The office and door staff are nice and polite and ready to assist the hotel residents.

The property is very worn. First room they were going to put me in was very dirty with stained carpet and big stains on the chair. The wi-fi was almost useless.

The hotel is aged and in need of upgrade
While the staff were friendly and helpful, the state of the room was in decay. I use to stay there 10 years ago and it was well looked after, now it is falling into a state of disrepair, major renovations are needed all around.

The room isn’t the best and sheets seemed old. The aircon was making weird noises and sometimes they came for room cleaning. But for the price and the friendly staff I would come again. Can’t expect perfection for a good price.

A true dump of a hotel if you can call it a hotel
What a dirty disgusting hotel. Room not cleaned once in 5 days . Claims free car park but the guys manning will lie to you to get you to pay and put the money in their pockets. Sticky carpets and bath rooms full of mould and bathtubs that have cracks in them . Towels that God knows what they have been used to wipe.Step outside and you have wall to wall hookers trying to sell you sex . Aircon unit hanging off the wall and doesn't work.Stay away go to IM hotel or City Garden.

We Miss when it was a " Best Western "
My wife and I have been staying here for years and always loved it . Now , not so much . It is no longer a " BEST WESTERN " affiliated Hotel and you can tell . It appears very run down this time ( first time we have stayed since no longer a Best Western ) We travel out of our way to stay here because we liked it . We will not do that any longer . The staff is still great , courteous hand helpful but the restaurant facility is lacking in comparison to before . Our return stop in Manila will not be at Oxford Suites .
