"We stayed for only one night and this place was perfect as a stopover before taking the fast boat to Lombok. The staff were friendly and accommodating and the property was clean and tidy. As a bonus we had a meal the evening before we arrived and I had a “ monster burger” which you could tell was cooked with care and delicious. All that and breakfast thrown in ! Difficult to beat for the price and highly recommended."

"We had a very nice stay at the Chill house. Our daughter enjoyed the pool, we the quiet atmosphere and the cleanliness of the place. The host family was always there to help with tips and other things and we rented a motorbike for a very good price. Really recommended!"

"Loved the outdoor bathroom. The rooms are very comfortable. I like that there are only ~10 villas on site. Lovely breakfast served on the balcony each morning. Friendly staff. The only problem was that there was a lot of plastic and rubbish burn-off every day happening next door. This is not the hotels fault. However, every time we went outside to our bathroom, the smell was really bad and felt very unhealthy breathing it in. "

"Be careful of the lizards or the gecko in the room"

"Never again. It stated on our reservation, daily housekeeping. When we asked about new towels and cleaning our room, they were horrified. So the room never got cleaned and we had to use the same towels the whole time there. I might add, if you want a good night sleep then this place isn’t for you. The loud music next door every night is atrocious."

"If you want to experience local life and local food this is an excellent place. We loved our stay here. Wayan met us at the cruise ship at the start of our stay and took us to the airport at the end of our stay. "We absolutely loved our stay at Jati cottage. We were really sad to leave. Our room exceeded our expectations on arrival. Our room was accessed up our own set of steps, we had a large private balcony overlooking the pool. 2 double beds side by side which was perfect for our needs, there was also a sofa in the room. "This property is on the most beautiful beach in the area. White sand beach leads to turquoise ocean with snorkelling right off the beach. The staff is warm and welcoming and our deck was 3 feet from the pool which overlooks the ocean a few steps below. It is located in a small quite village with many small restaurant but if you want more action many of the restaurants in Canadista will give you a ride there and back or you can have a driver take you for $4-5."

"This Hotel is exactly like the pictures on the website - a rare quality. What the pictures don’t tell you is how nice, helpful and friendly the staff are. For me the location couldn’t have been better, I could to walk to everywhere I wanted to go, Monkey forest, temples and rice fields. Well done"

"This is a lovely quiet place to stay. Our “shack” overlooking the sea was large and comfortable, quiet efficient air con. Lovely veranda to sit and watch the dolphins, and the gorgeous sunsets. Staff were lovely, friendly and efficient, and always smiling. Restaurant was very nice, but other restaurants in walking distance when you want a change. Virgin Beach a short drive away, beautiful! "

"I had a great experience at the hotel. They have lot of dining options and a shuttle available to go to Ubud City. On my last day I had a negative experience with breakfast. I had explained about the egg allergy. They brought meal with egg. They took it back and removed the egg from my plate. I kindly explained that they need to remove the areas that there were bits of egg. They took it back and did the same thing again. I gave up and ate a bit of my breakfast and lost my interest in eating. This would be my biggest concern that they would need to make a new meal if my allergy was serious. Overall my stay was great. "
