"We spent a long airport layover at this hotel, so that we could relax and rest. The staff were friendly and helpful. Our room was clean, quiet and comfortable, although we did find the shower floor to be quite slippery when wet. The meal we had in the restaurant was good and everything was very fresh. Our only disappointment was that the massage treatments I had scheduled via a chat on the hotel website, during which I was assured our appointment was confirmed, were not in fact scheduled and no one was even available in the spa area. We would definitely stay here again, especially in the case of an early flight, since the proximity to the airport is very good."

The swimming pool was wonderful and offered a truly beautiful view of the city. If we find ourselves back in Makassar, we would stay here again. The food from the restaurant was just so-so, but it is available 24 hours, which is convenient if you need it. The only negative was the hotel shuttle driver who met us at the airport, as he wasn't very friendly, never introduced himself, had two boys at the airport help with the bags and then signaled that we needed to pay them, and only smiled when we tipped him, which we felt we had to do rather than wanted to do. As a woman, had I been alone in the car with him, I would not have felt comfortable. "
