"Our second stay here at the Velvet Hotel just as good as the first. Attentive staff lovely clean room everything you need for a comfy stay. We had the continental breakfast delivered to our room this time . Handed to us on a lovely tray on time pastries granola fruit and breakfast bar with an orange juice was just what we needed. See you again same time next year for our annual visit to the Palace. "

"The bar and eating area above the bar as you enter was very unique. The extra areas made for sitting and eating was very cool. The upstairs bar/balcony was so beautiful! Everything about this hotel amazed us. The room we stayed in was a 2 story room with a balcony looking over the living room area. It was very awesome and had a rustic feel to it. We fell in love with every aspect of this hotel! It made our honeymoon the best."

"Nice hotel in a great location just minutes from the Piccadilly railway station and a short walk into the Manchester city centre. The room was big enough as was the the bathroom and the rom was very clean. The breakfast was okay with no hot food and of the continental variety. There are no lunches or dinner but there are plenty of cafes and restaurants nearby. Ther is a bar with a large seating area, just to note that there are no draught choices. It is the third time that we stayed there...

"We booked a triple room. It was cosy and comfortable enough. Wasnt very big but was enough space for the few days we were there. Breakfast was ok. Not great but was ok and enough. Location was perfect. Walking distance to everything. Staff were friendly. Price was good. The stairs up to the rooms were challenging for my mam. Room was nice and warm and bathroom was good. Overall it was a good stay and the location was great! "
