"I forgot an expensive watch I brought as a gift. I was leaving and the security guard stopped me to let me know I had forgotten something in my room. They asked if they had permission to touch it and bring it down or if I wanted to go myself to retrieve it. They brought it down to the basement for me. "

"Really enjoyed my stay here. The room was clean, the bedding and bed were comfortable. The shower was clean and the drain had a cover, so no nasty smells. The hotel is very simple but it’s an appealing place. The sound of the river which flows next to it was also lovely. The hotel seemed busy but wasn’t noisy. It was a little cool, but there was a blanket available which I didn’t need. I also appreciated the fly/mosquito screens on all the windows. Just two small things, the curtains didn’t have a hook to keep them open and they wouldn’t draw, so they stayed closed the whole time. Also, wasn’t keen on having to leave my key when I went out at reception and also having to wait for the room to be checked before I left. This never happened in any other hotel I’ve stayed at before. I’d recommend the place though, staff didn’t speak English but helped as much as they could and there is a cute coffee shop in the lobby too. Really good stay. "
