"The wifi did not work and there was no laundry as advertised. The room i stayed in had constant loud banging sounds from the room the table was broken and the bed frame also broken and scratched my leg causing it to bleed; but i was able to switch rooms the second day. The road one street down is under construction so no cars could get through to the actual location. The cleaning staff were very nice, about half the office staff were nice, the others were somewhat rude and annoyed to speak...

"We were astonished as soon as we walked into this unit. It was on the 12th floor right on the harbour and the view is incredible. You can easily see where it gets is name from. The unit was in immaculate condition and so spacious for us and our 4 other friends. A real gem and rare find in Europe. It had large bedrooms with king beds and ensuites in every bedroom! "Second stay at Shamrock apartments another great stay. So close to all amenities, bus terminal so close, restaurants, shops etc.. hosts are attentive and quick to respond to any enquires. Appartment has everything you could need for your stay. Pool is small but clean. Plenty of sunbeds. Only negative not the appartments fault but a Scottish lady decided to sunbathe topless (which is not allowed) next to my 80 year old father, just because she wanted the particular bed he was using!! "

"I checked in quite late due to the ferry schedule. The unit is less than 10 minutes from the ferry port. accessing the building was not difficult although as a short person I struggled to reach the keypad without having to step onto the first step at the doorway. I had a small carry on luggage and had to climb a somewhat narrow spiral staircase to the third floor with it. The keypad on the door handle was really frustrating to use because you had to turn the handle just enough to trigger it to...

"We recently spent a week in Malta and loved our stay. We ran into a small issue our second day but the property manager was super responsive and the problem was cleared up with no real inconvenience for us. The property is located very close to major cultural attractions and restaurants but on a quiet street so no disturbances. I loved the architecture of the property and area. People visiting should be clear this is not a hotel and more of an apartment with a full kitchen and living room area....

"Good apartment block. Apartment was basic and beds not the great but good for its price. Aircon is not free/included. It runs on a meter and takes €1 & €2. It cost use roughly €50 to run 2 bedrooms around 15 hours a day. Owner pleasant and met us on arrival. Also live across from building so at hand if there is any problems. "

"Property had all the amenities but was tired and cleanliness left a lot to be desired- ie microwave, cooker and especially the shower. Communication with the host was good and they were very responsive to an issue that we had. The neighboring apartment was in an all night party mood which made the stay less than relaxing. "

"Property is fine for a few days. It's used like a party place, lots of groups of young people partying. It doesn't have a pool, so only good for a place to sleep really."

"A delightful apartment in the heart of old town Valletta. Close to everything and yet peaceful. The apartment exceeded all expectations, it was spacious, comfortably, beautifully fitted out and clean. There was no noise and when the air conditioning was on a respite from the summer heat… and yet in the evening I could turn the air conditioning off, open the window and enjoy the evening air… without any noise. The little shop next door had your basics, and many many restaurants were literally...

"I had a 4 night stay in a single bedroom with twin single beds for me and my daughter. I have lung cancer and snore rather loudly which meant my daughter couldn’t sleep. I went to concierge to explain my situation and Edgar was on duty. I explained my situation and in a flash, he had spoken to the manager who couldn’t do enough for me, and offered a complimentary suite for the remaining 3 days. They put a single bed in the lounge and this was all done by the time I had packed up my old room. He also helped me out throughout my stay with recommendations on activities and places to see. Edgar is such a genuine and empathetic person who is a huge credit to the hotel. Thanks for everything. "

"A Delightful Stay at Azur Hotel I recently had the pleasure of staying at Azur Hotel. The rooms were clean and had everything we needed. The hotel's location is perfect for exploring the local area, with many attractions and a wide selection of restaurants and shops within easy walking distance. The staff were friendly and welcoming, always ready to assist. Breakfast each morning has a wide selection of delicious options to suit every taste. From fresh fruit and pastries to hot dishes, the breakfast spread was both varied and satisfying. I highly recommend Azur Hotel for anyone looking for a clean, well-situated, friendly and reasonably priced place to stay."

"Positives first: Lovely hotel, comfortable bed, superb bathroom. Friendly staff. Definitely staying here again. Negatives: we stayed Friday and Saturday nights. It can get very noisy on Saturday nights when the people start leaving from the nearby bars, clubs and restaurants. I could hear people shouting on the streets till 4AM. This was room 402. I will ask for some other room next time."
