"We recently stayed at the hotel for a couple's getaway to celebrate my husband's birthday. Overall, we had a great time, and if I could, I'd give it 4.5 stars rather than 4. There were some fantastic moments that made our stay special, but a few disappointments kept it from being perfect. The atmosphere was ideal for a quiet trip without kids around, and the hotel surprised us with complimentary treats for my husband's birthday, which was a nice touch. "Front desk was very welcoming, informative, friendly. Rooms, bathroom, balcony were very clean! Happy with that. Had the ocean view and beaches are a very short walk from the hotel!! Was a quiet neighbourhood for good sleep. Need a car otherwise have to take the bus to old town which takes around 40 min and uncomfortably packed with tourists. Use google maps as there are multiple bus stops to get to old town. On checkout day, I took the bus which stops right in front of the hotel with my luggage...

"Lovely room which was serviced every day. Sea view. Fabulous shower. Room had fridge which was handy for water, beer and wine! Great choices at breakfast buffet. Drinks good value if you're not all inclusive. Large pool with plenty of sunbeds. Luggage room and showers available if you have a later flight. "

"As a first time solo traveller I discovered it would be handy if certain appliances were available, such as an iron, for those like me travelling light. It doesn’t have to be in every room but available on request. It wasn’t clear to me if this was available."
