Told on arrival our room was upstairs; which it wasn't. After bringing everything back down we were told it was outside. Room was good and clean- perfect for 1 night. Great location for surroundings.

If I'm visiting Maldon, I always stay at the Blue Boar if there is availability. Atmospheric building with breakfast included. Staff always friendly and helpful. What's not to like!

Lovely place in Maldon
Lovely service, very comfortable and clean room. Very central and the pub was great to sit outside and have a drink in the warm weather.

This is a 14th century property so it is very old and wonky. The bedrooms however have been refurbished to a very good standard.
