"It started fine but on the third night as we were putting our kids to bed we found some sort of rodent droppings all over the kids beds and pillows. It must have all fallen from the overhead vents. We immediately packed and left. It ruined our trip to St Lucia. "
"I have requested a quiet corner room while making the booking and upon checking in on arrival i was told to pay an extra R200 for the quiet room which i did pay to my surprise the following day I was asked again to pay an extra R200 ... which i did pay as i did not want to move to an other room...I really feel so disgusted about how people can be so so greedy when it comes to money that we will leave behind when dead...the place was even too noisy with the occupants upstairs."
"We had a fantastic time in St. Lucia. A beautiful accommodation, a great hostess who was always ready to help, and amazing cleaners. The beds were a bit on the firm side, but that was taken care of during our stay. Highly recommended for a family stay! We hope to return here someday."
"Wifi was disappointing as only 1 device could be connected at a time and the wifi was available only in the lounge area. The main bedroom bathroom does not work properly.
However a good and reasonable stay for families and close to all of the restaurants and entertainment. "
"We stayed at Annemarie's place for a few days and really enjoyed it. It's a great location, central and still quiet, sheltered away with a fantastic barbecue and small flower garden outside. The large bedroom was like all other rooms well decorated and spacious, the kitchen well equipped. Our host was very friendly and helpful in all matters. We can only recommend a stay at Annemarie's place."
"On our first day coming back from site seeing we found that our room was not serviced we had to go and complain, room was full of spider web. second day the lights went off from 7pm till 12pm no one bothered to explain what was happening bring us candles we used our cell phones to light the room @10:30 we called the manager who told us that Eskom is busy fixing it then we asked for candles he brought them @ 11H00 coz he was out. Hotel staff were friendly and welcoming especially Musa."
"the apartment was generally comfortable. Was very disappointed that there was no Wifi in the apartment- and that the info booklet said that you could get wifi at reception- but when we requested we were told to pay R 100!!
There was no mop in the apartment- made it a bit difficult to clear up spills.
checkout is also rather early- i.e before 10...and the info booklet said by 9.00 am"

The tranquil ambiance—perfect for unwinding.
The lodge’s charming design, blending nature with comfort.
We only wish we could have stayed longer! Highly recommend Leopard Tree Lodge for anyone visiting St Lucia—whether for a romantic getaway or a peaceful retreat. We’ll definitely be back!"
"Bhangazi Lodge is a lovely guest house in central St. Lucia. My room was large and clean with its own bathroom, a slider to the pool, TV, and a refrigerator. AC was excellent and they had power available even when the town power was out. Kettle in the room as well.
They served a hot cooked-to-order breakfast which was included and delicious. Also coffee, tea and bottled water were always available.
Walkable to the town and the beach, but at night you have to drive due to the hippos wandering the streets. There are a lot of restaurants very close. There is parking at the building behind a gate. Very secure.
The host Simon was extremely knowledgeable about the area and what to see and do.
I highly recommend staying here."
"We booked a last minute stay at Perna Perna and were very happy with the value of the accommodations. The staff were accommodating and sent thorough communication prior to arrival. Check in and Check out were easy. The unit was clean, the beds were comfortable."
"Leopard Walk Lodge: A Perfect African Retreat
After a demanding business trip from the USA, Leopard Walk Lodge was the ideal place to unwind before my 30-hour flight home. With a small number of luxury lodges, each designed for complete privacy, it offers a serene escape in the heart of the African bush. The accommodations are beautifully furnished with all the amenities you could need, including excellent WiFi. However, it’s the stillness of the wilderness that truly soothes the soul, inviting relaxation and rejuvenation.
The staff’s hospitality was exceptional. From the flawless check-in and check-out process to their warm Zulu smiles, they made me feel like family. Nothing was ever too much trouble, and their attention to detail ensured every need was met effortlessly.
The food was outstanding, with both breakfast and dinner showcasing home-cooked quality and local flavors. Service during meals was attentive yet unobtrusive, adding to the overall sense of comfort.
Whether relaxing on my private deck or exploring the nearby paths, I was immersed in the peaceful beauty of the bush. Watching the sky shift at sunrise and sunset was magical, reinforcing the lodge’s calming atmosphere.
Leopard Walk Lodge offers the perfect combination of luxury, privacy, and connection with nature. For anyone seeking a true escape, it’s a place to reset, recharge, and leave feeling refreshed and ready for what’s next."
