"Amazing time at Ella Retreat, the staff were very friendly and attentive. The hotel is located a short drive away from Ella city, which is a bit sketchy at times heading up the mountain (but exhilarating). Being away with nature was great, be sure to visit the nearby waterfall! "

"When we got to the hotel they 1st said they didn't do hotel's. Com so i was about to cancel my credit card as i thought i had been scammed had i done so it would have been very inconvenient. After 20 minutes of panicking the manager came over and said we did have a booking. If i had not paid upfront i would have walked out NOT HAPPY 😡"

"We stayed at this delightful mountain cabin in Ella. It hangs off the mountain, faces directly west for the perfect sunset between two peaks. The view is breathtaking. The pictures do not do the tiniest bit of justice. It's a brand new cottage with 2 seperate units. One with a bedroom + loft sleeps 4 people. The other is a two bedroom. The only downside to this place is getting there.. some steel hills, big vehicles cannot go. Tuk Tuks... that struggle to get up the hill or walk. It's worth it...

"Wonderful 3 nights here. Unfortunately, we booked a garden view room so not much to look at and no chairs on the balcony. Springing for the mountain view room would be worth the extra money! Staff and service are excellent. Clean, comfortable and modern decor room, plus the rainfall shower is superb after enduring the heat and humidity! Breakfast is sufficient and good.
