The room we had was very roomy, with bed and bathroom on mezzanine level. There was a lounge, dining and kitchenette on ground level. A small continental breakfast was provided on arrival. Overall room was very comfy and reasonable cost.

Stayed here for over 20 years, room I had nicely updated. Off the main road, little quieter. Will be nice if the restaurant opens again soon. Nice to eat at the location cooked breaky was always a great start to your day. New managers who seem keen to impress.

Was not told when we booked in to take our breakfast up to our room then. As it was part of cost, it was not delivered to our room, thought it may be outside room next morning but was not. Also no book inside room telling us anything at all. Would have liked to know if bottle of wine was complimentary or we had to pay if we drank. No book, no know.

Perfect!
I have stayed at the Shakespeare before and it is very well maintained and clean, nice size room, very comfortable bed! It has everything you need and a good location, a walk to the Caneland Central Mall, also the room is very quiet with no street noise! Very good price on the room!

I was travelling and Mackay was my half way stop. It is in a quiet area, clean with helpful staff. Could not fault it. Just what I needed. I found a great place for dinner within easy walking distance. 🙌
