"This was a magical place and definitely worth a visit. After visiting Palermo this was the peaceful retreat we were looking for. "A wonderful family run B&B. Very nice rooms and property with orchard and nice plantings. Plus a very nice swimming pool! It feels secluded even though just a couple miles outside of Agrigento. Breakfast was wonderful with many homemade items right from the property and a great outdoor terrace to eat. I would highly recommend this place! Only tricky thing is driving there. "Such a beautiful town, we were perched on top of a hill with views down the valley onto the mountains. The mornings were spectacular. Walking distance to everywhere if you don’t mine hills. Would recommend for a must see. The butcher shop under the apartment was so convenient had everything including meat and we were made to feel very welcome. "

"We chose this hotel for a quick one night stay to stab into Valley of the Temples park just 3 minutes away first thing in the morning, which we did. We found the room on the small side. The air conditioner seemed to run with odd intermittent noises. Our main issue was with the shower. First, the doors slid apart from the center on tracks as in a closet, but one door was so off-track, it was hanging on 1 of 4 rollers. I was able to get the top two back on track, but the bottom two needed tools. The second issue was the faucet handle was dead center on the long wall right where the showeree would stand--and it was a pullout handle, not a turn knob, not two or three knobs, a handle that juts into the action zone. Talking about thoughtless design, then add my gurthiness, it was an unpleasant dance in deed. I can't speak about all their rooms, but I would ask that they review this design flaw. Overall we slept well and we're able to accomplish our tourist objectives. I want to point out our wonderful experience eating dinner at Pizzeria Mythos Nella Valle--their food is tremendous and tasty. Great family run restaurant with high integrity. Five minutes walk from hotel. Nevermind the lower rating...their food is the real deal! "
