"This was our first holiday to Norway and our expectation was to do some hiking, see spectacular landscapes and scenery of the fjords. Norway certainly delivered. The house made it a perfect holiday because it was truly a home away from home. Comfortable and cozy, close to the sea, and many hiking options within an hour's drive to experience raw nature. "

"Only stayed for a night, but this place had everything we needed. It is close to the ferry port to Lyngseidet. Host was friendly and spoke enough English to accommodate us with our non-existent Norwegian. Dinner was nice and reasonably-priced, and breakfast was plentiful. Only thing to be wary is that the restaurant was open only until 6pm, but this may have been due to it being low season."
