"The hotel was very secure with security at the gates and x-ray for baggage at the entrance. The lobby is quite large, with a restaurant, gift shop and station to arrange transportation. The food was good. Our room was nice, but not quite as cool as we would like. The rug in our room was pretty dirty and had not been cleaned in a long time. Otherwise we had a great stay."

"I had a wonderful stay at Djorff Palace this summer. It's a beautiful hotel in an incredible location -- right on the Nile River, the views are stunning -- and it was perfectly situated for my trip focused on visiting the temples and tombs of Luxor and surrounding areas. During my 7-day stay at the hotel I also felt incredibly well taken care of. The staff were attentive and helpful and the service throughout my stay was terrific. Everyone made me feel genuinely welcome literally from the moment I arrived. The restaurant was also excellent. Overall Djorff Palace really was the perfect base for my visit to Luxor."
