"Hotel was lovely. Walk with luggage to hotel was manageable—especially due to large pedestrian walkway from railroad station. Breakfast was delicious and hotel staff very kind and considerate. / The only “heads up” would be there are lots of steps (maybe 20) to get to the reception area and no one to assist. We were lucky to get assistance from another guest. Hotel DOES have elevator to get to guest rooms but not at entrance. We had dinner at the hotel’s restaurant—which was nice. Across the street is a Michelin Star restaurant — excellent!! Splurge!! Well worth it. Ask hotel front desk for discount for Chur Brambrüesch (aerial cableway). It was a beautiful excursion. At the top, we stopped at a little family-run hotel/restaurant for beer/wine and food. Don’t be intimidated by the mountain bikes and professional hikers, there is a nice flat pathway in which you can enjoy without being too overwhelming. The views are amazing!! Chur is a quaint town. We stayed for 3 nights prior to taking the Glacier Express to Zermatt. // As for GE, if you don’t want to order overpriced food on GE, pick up your own lunch at a local shop in Chur!! We stopped at a small store in train station (left side as you go down escalator) - ZANETTI. Perfect!! They were incredibly kind and sandwiches were delicious. On GE we ordered wine and ate our packed sandwiches. We noticed many others had packed their own food. Chur was a delightful town with lots to see, good restaurants and shopping! "

"For a Hostel this place was fantastic. We were in a private room with bunk beds and our own bathroom. Room had pull down shelves to use to store things and a table along with two stools. It was a 10 -15 min walk from the Chur main train station. Food was walking distance away. Within the grounds of the hostel was a small restaurant and cafe. Downstairs had beverages. There was a community game room and kitchen. "
