"Lovely clean apartment, well equiped for self catering. We did book breakfast but the buffet restaurant closed due to being out of season. However the staff brought breakfast to order every morning to our room, which was lovely. I asked for an extra blanket (before we worked the heating out) which was delivered promptly. Nothing was to much trouble. Bars and restaurants all close by. "

"Excellent place to stay! Friendly people, beautiful accommodations! Perfectly located and has a rooftop pool to boot! The only criticism would be the mattresses… they were too firm for our liking and it made it hard to sleep, but we like soft beds so anyone else may not have an issue at all. The unit we stayed in was recently refurbished with top of the line kitchen appliances, a very comfortable bed with a large television and a great bathroom with shower. "We arrived to find the property was ready and hadn’t been cleaned from the previous tenants. We contacted the owner and to be honest he was very good, provided another property across the hallway and got the original property cleaned within in two hours. We were moved back as the alternative property was cold. But after a poor start we had a good stay. "Very large apartment, very clean and tidy with everything we needed for our stay. Collect key from Relax hotel 5 mins away but no great issue. Tiled floor means lots of noise coming down from room above - kitchen chairs being moved by folk returning 2am created alot of noise. earplugs meant a decent night sleep/"

"Malta is an exceptional country. This hotel, while not in Valletta proper, is on a number of bus routes. Malta has no train so all transportation is by bus or ferry. It's very easy. The hotel is terrific. No complaints. "

"There is nothing I can criticise with regards to the Hotel Gomerino. On arrival we were upgraded to a deluxe suite which was a great size with a seperate sitting area. Breakfast was excellent and staff were friendly and professional. A huge thing in this Hotels favour is that it is 1 minute walk away from all the restaurants and bars in Merchant St, however we never heard any noise. A great boutique hotel. "
