"It was amazing, we stayed on Monday and there was NO ONE IN THE HOTEL EXCEPT THE STAFF AND US. The breakfast was fine, elevator was good, the room had some space which is good. There was a really big shower and bathroom area and there was also breakfast. The outside view was good and the hotel was mostly awesome."
"Liou Lian Ke Zhan Hotel is certainly not luxurious, but I had a great stay here. The location is good, just a few blocks from the Luodong train station and an easy walk to the night market. The bed and pillows were very comfortable. The TV has lots of English (and French and Korean) channels. The hot water takes a little while to warm up, but once it does, the shower is good and hot with excellent water pressure.
The proprietors are very friendly. Miss Ding, who checked me in, didn't seem to speak any English at all, but it didn't matter. She was able to convey everything necessary to me using a translation app on her phone.
The only thing missing that I would have liked is a kettle in the room to heat water. This was absent, but hot water was available in the lobby, along with an assortment of drinks, some of which were free, and for others there was a 'Donation Box' and a sign listing suggested donations for different items. This system works well because they don't have anyone at the lobby desk late night and early morning (so make sure you have your key card with you when you leave).
The hotel is located on the 8th floor of a building with several different hotels. If the lift doors open and you see a sign that says "Boutique Hotel", you're in the right place."
"Hotel was run down. Beds were hard and the bathtub was broken. Had to move rooms, other room just as bad. Good location, bad service. 1 star hotel at best"
"Really enjoyed my stay Lakeshore Suao. Besides cleanliness and super hospitable staff, the vibes in this hotel is impeccable! Will definitely return."
