Cuxhaven’s districts Döse and Duhnen will impress you with beautiful sandy beaches. The “Kugelbake” is the wooden landmark of the city and marks the border for inland navigation. Wilhelmshaven on the Jade Bay is a diverse city offering a visitor’s centre with information about the flora and fauna of the North Sea as part of the UNESCO World Heritage site, the Wadden Sea. Explore the island of Helgoland or take a bicycle tour through the Wangerland region.

The city Norden is one of the oldest cities in East Frisia. In the district Norddeich, you will find plenty of options for swimming. The ferries to the islands Juist and Norderney also depart here. Marvel at the magnificent Mennonite Church and the building structure called Dree Süsters (three sisters) in the market square of the city. Another destination worth exploring is theCastle Museum Jeverwhich provides fascinating information about the history of the city in varying exhibitions.
