"The hotel is an early 20th century building (I think) with the style of the belle epoch and our room had wonderful high ceilings and tall windows with a balcony overlooking the bay. There was a good sized desk and fridge, but no kettle. Wifi was good and the first time in Croatia we were actually able to connect reliably. Situated near the top of a mountain with a challenging drive up Draga di Lovrana certainly provides stunning views and a visual feast, but it a little lacking in substance. Our room had a terrace overlooking the sea and just below the pool (which we didn't try) and it was nice enough (and certainly spotlessly clean) but despite being easily the most expensive room of our trip it had the smallest bed and was the least well equipped.
