"Excellent location. Staff was fine. The one thing we thought was a minor irritant was the tufted pillowcases and linens. Some people may like that they are different but we just found them strange feeling, especially on the pillows. The one thing that we did not like was the way they ran the breakfast buffet. Rather than letting you choose your table as is the case at every hotel breakfast we enjoyed over 5 weeks in Europe and many hotels, they had you assigned to a table. We travelled with another couple and they were downstairs a few minutes before us and were shown to one table and when we came we were shown to a table of strangers. We had them put us with our friends but it seemed that it messed up their system. They do cater mostly to bus tours but if someone chooses the buffet, maybe they should ask when registering about preferences or group travel. Otherwise, we would happily stay here again. "

It is very convenient as it is right across from the Gare de Lourdes (train station) and only a 15 minute walk to the shrine. It is very clean, comfortable and quiet. It also has the best restaurant in the Haute Pyrenees, Le Parc restaurant. The staff, especially Madam at the front desk is always welcoming and friendly. Whether you are a family with children, friends, pilgrim groups, couples or solo travelers like me, I highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a place to stay in Lourdes. It is truly the “Best.” "
