I was quite surprised by the meager conditions of this Laquinta Inn. The hotel door to our room were stuck in the locked position, the elevator jerked when it stopped on each floor, and I saw a roach crawling on my couch. This was the worst Laquinta Inn I’ve stayed at. I will continue to stay at Laquinta Inn hotels in the future, but not this one. There was one young lady at the front desk who was very nice and helpful. She worked the night shift.

Stay was OK…extremely overpriced because area had a big event and U of L basketball home game. Not many area hotels advertising reasonable prices. Most workers at this hotel speak very little to no English…making communicating difficult. Lots of foreign workers being housed in hotel ( maybe 10 to a room). Very confusing why hotel was housing so many foreign workers? Male clerk at front desk was not friendly…didn’t seem to speak much English and acted hostile toward black patrons. Called police on one black patron due to problems with children in pool.
