"I made my reservation online and prepaid. When I checked in the employee at the front desk tried to charge me again and I told him I had prepaid. He said there was no prepayment showing, so I showed him my email receipt. After another few moments looking on his systems he found that I had prepaid. Then he asked me if I had a vehicle and told me there was a parking fee of $20 per night. The parking lot is part of a huge parking lot for a mall, so I don’t understand why they charge. I guess it’s just another way for them to take another $20 from their guests. My room was good and the bed was comfortable. The evening reception was nice as was the free made to order omelette each morning. My biggest complaint was on my second night, three bus loads of high school kids arrived at 9:30PM. Boys were running all over the place slamming doors and doing who knows what until almost midnight. It was so loud I thought they were destroying the place. I went out about 10:00PM and just observed the goings on for a few minutes before stopping by the front desk to complain. The employee only told me security was aware of the situation. Although this could have been a nice stay, there were too many things I didn’t like about this hotel and I won’t be staying here on my next trip to San Luis Obispo."
"Very sweet staff and clean room nothing nothing fancy but very clean which I appreciate above everything else I would definitely come back to this location"
"The ocean view from the patio was very nice, however the overall stay was slightly below mediocre. The bed was uncomfortable, the water pressure in the bathroom sink and the shower was very weak, and the most annoying part was the noise level in the middle of the night. The stomping, running in the hallways, and the thin walls does not make the room stay peaceful. All of this lead to me ending my stay a day early. If you can somehow tolerate these things, then the experience is fine but I do not plan on returning to this place. "
"Lovely property with nice outdoor seating during the reception hour. Rooms were spacious and worked well with our 16 year to have the separate living room area "
"Overall we really enjoyed staying in the penthouse suite. It has a large patio and amazing view.
We loved the freestanding tub. The penthouse has its own floor so it’s pretty cool. No one else around. "
