"Wish we had more time! This place is clean, modern, beautiful, and in a great location. Breakfast was included and had so many options. Pool area looked inviting but we had no time and temperatures were falling. A bit of trouble locating the front desk and staff didn’t seem to notice. Not a typical check in desk. I thought it was a desk for guests to work on. Other than that and an issue locating the front door (it’s on a side street where you cannot drive a car), parking was very close in an underground parking garage, room was perfect, facility was a 10/10, and breakfast and patio area were 10/10. "

"We stayed here for 7 nights. The service throughout was excellent. Very helpful staff at reception and in the restaurants. All we're keen to help, and did so with a friendly manner. The room (upgraded from standard) was spacious and generally very practical (although a bedside table in both sides would be an improvement). The style is older/traditional but also very functional. On one night, the weather was cooler than normal and some heating in the room would have been more comfortable but it was still acceptable and perfectly good the rest of the week. Food and service at breakfast and dinner, were very good indeed. Again the staff couldn't have been more helpful. We used the spa every day. It has a very good range of jacuzzis, jets plus a sauna, steam room, a very warm pool and an 'icy' pool too. All very good. (€22/day if not part of your room cost). Plenty of free parking is available in the hotel grounds. Easily walkable to the town itself. It is quite a steep climb but there is also a lift from outside the town walls, up to the town gate. An excellent place to visit the town and surrounding area."

"The staff was absolutely wonderful and so accommodating. We had a very early train on our last day and they took the time to prepare a part of breakfast and coffee and tea for us before breakfast was available. Our time here was so relaxing. "
