Our flight was canceled so we needed a place to spend 24 hours at. Booking a last minute room was easy. The room was clean and comfortable. The lobby was comfortable and clean as well. We had to wait for hours before checking out of our room and checking in for the flight which we spent in the lobby. Would have loved it if there was a spa.

Had a good experience staying at the Westin LAX. The room was clean and comfortable bed. Every 15 minutes shuttle to and from the LAX (Airport) made it very convenient. The service at the restaurant (Daily Grill) could be better as I waited a long time at the bar without even being noticed by the bartender. I then had to take a table to get service but my waitress forgot to bring my wine before they brought my dinner. The dinner which was a chicken Caesar salad was mediocre at best. I am not a nitpicker but since I was asked to provide my review, I figured it would be a good opportunity to share my experience.

We stayed here because we were going to a concert, to see Megadeth at You Tube. When we were in line to check in one of the host came up to us and asked if we were going to an event and said they are providing transportation. He asked what event and when we told him he basically said that was the only one we are not providing transportation… I was thinking “then why tell people that?” Lame. Any way, this is a typical hotel by LAX, nothing fancy, average overly priced. We live in Orange County, so not far, and realized next time it’s not worth the time and money.

It was newly renovated. There's still more coming, but you couldn't tell because the place was very well taken care of, and the staff extremely helpful and polite.
